The MSA Yoke Retrieval Lanyard 507131 is engineered for confined space entry and emergency rescue operations where controlled vertical lifting is required.
Its key feature is a rigid 22-inch (560 mm) spreader bar that prevents shoulder collapse during lifting. This ensures the worker remains upright, reducing injury risk and making extraction through narrow openings safer and smoother.
The system is made from high-tensile industrial synthetic webbing and uses dual MSA 36C self-closing, self-locking steel snaphooks that attach securely to compatible harness shoulder D-rings. A central or top connection point allows attachment to rescue winches, tripods, or davit systems.
Lightweight at approximately 2.87 lbs (1.3 kg), it is designed for ease of deployment while maintaining industrial-grade strength. It is widely used in rescue, utilities, oil & gas, wastewater treatment, mining, and industrial maintenance operations.
