The MSA Latchways Standard Self-Retracting Lifeline 62215-00US is designed to provide reliable fall protection for professionals working at height where extended vertical travel is required. Its 50 ft (15 m) self-retracting lifeline offers greater mobility than shorter models, making it ideal for high structures, towers, industrial plants, and maintenance applications.

The lifeline is manufactured from 3/16 in (5 mm) Grade 316 stainless steel cable with a durable 7 × 19 strand construction, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. A heavy-duty cast aluminum housing protects the internal mechanism against harsh job site conditions while maintaining exceptional structural strength.

The SRL incorporates MSA's proven Constant Force® energy absorption system, which reduces fall arrest forces without relying on traditional external shock absorbers. Its patented Full Contact™ positive locking mechanism delivers rapid engagement during a fall, helping minimize free-fall distance and improve user safety.

An integrated retraction dampening brake system controls cable rewind speed to less than 3 m/s, helping reduce cable whip hazards, prevent accidental equipment damage, and improve overall user safety during retraction.

Built with stainless steel internal components, an aluminum drum assembly, a visual-indicating stainless steel snaphook, and a secure steel anchorage carabiner, the unit is fully field-serviceable, allowing simplified maintenance and extended operational life.
